Partnership & Social Impact Manager
Sarah’s background is in social impact, education and entrepreneurship. Prior to her work in education, Sarah worked in account management for graduate recruitment but a drive to focus her career on positive social change led her to the Year Here Fellowship programme for social entrepreneurship and innovation. Sarah was a founding member of education charity, The Difference, taking it from inception to a national organisation delivering multiple programmes, as Head of Recruitment and Culture. Most recently Sarah led a social enterprise delivering inclusive relationship and sex education for young people.

Community Assistant
Gio supports the day-to-day running of Better Space as a Community Assistant. She’s your go-to for questions, feedback, and anything that helps the space feel more welcoming and connected, including event support and community ideas.
Gio brings a rich background spanning office operations, mental health, and hospitality, with a strong focus on equity and access in the arts, education, and wellbeing. She’s particularly passionate about supporting POC and queer communities, and believes deeply in the power of inclusive spaces where people can be themselves, connect meaningfully, and thrive.
