Nita Robertson

On Purpose Associate at Mutual Value Labs

I have a broad range of experiences from roles I have held in government, civil organisations and business working on both social and environmental challenges.
Key areas include climate and carbon management, the violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector and cross-cultural community development with those experiencing multiple deprivation. I have had the opportunity to work strategically on systemic issues and on the ground with those that these systems impact the most.
The skills I bring to these spaces include strategy and programme design, creating and delivering training and partnership building.
I have benefited hugely from mentoring alongside these roles and in transitions. In fact, I am currently midway through a systems change learning and development programme called On Purpose where mentoring and coaching is a key feature. I would love to offer the same support to others on their journey.
The individuals I have had the privilege of mentoring over the last decade or so have been looking for support in creating change in their lives - personal and professional. My style is kind, deep listening, thoughtful enquiry and helpful challenge to create clear next steps. I provide supportive accountability and space for fostering new perspectives towards the change mentees want to see.
